Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Technologist to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise security systems.

You will manage video surveillance, access control integrations, and security monitoring across the organization. Responsibilities include configuring ACC video management, Avigilon cameras, and ACM/Alta Access, while collaborating with IT for network, cybersecurity, and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, security systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems.
• Hands-on experience with Avigilon Control Center, Avigilon cameras/NVRs, Avigilon ACM/Alta Access.
• Knowledge of IP networking, video surveillance, access control technologies, and security system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Administrate, configure, and support ACC video management systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Avigilon cameras, NVRs, encoders, and related infrastructure.
• Configure video analytics, appearance search, facial recognition, and event monitoring where applicable.
• Configure access control hardware and manage permissions, credentials, and security policies.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and support investigations with video retrieval and evidence preservation.
