Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech in Houston, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse functions, including receiving, identification, marking, storage and issuance of materials in a safe environment.

You will verify quantities, part numbers and quality at receipt and during storage, maintain barcode labels, log movements in the inventory system, perform cycle counts and keep work areas clean while supporting a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a service warehouse facility.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Proficient with a computerized parts inventory locator system.
• Strong verbal communication and neat handwriting.
• Able to operate forklift and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Able to pass airport security background check.
• Willing to work any shift including weekends for 24/7 operation.
• Team player with ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Verify product quantity by counting and part number by description.
• Maintain barcode labels on stored material.
• Record all material movements in the inventory system.
• Perform daily cycle counts as assigned.
• Document material receipt and issuance.
• Maintain orderly and safe warehouse area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and report unsafe conditions.
• Assist with general housekeeping.
