Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Marysville, WA, is seeking an Upholstery Shop Technician II (Contract) to support aircraft interior assembly and finishing tasks. You will prepare coverings, install upholstery, and ensure quality while following engineering data and safety procedures.

This temporary role requires adapting to a fast-paced shop environment, with focus on detail, accuracy, and collaboration with the Upholstery Lead to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of upholstery experience, preferably in corporate aviation completion environment or other high-end industries such as yachts, luxury motor coaches, etc.
• Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person per legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs component preparation, covering and assembly under minimal supervision per data and FAA guidelines.
• Prepares coverings including fabric, leather and Tedlar.
• Performs preparations and installations on and off wing.
• Performs on aircraft interior modifications, installations, or maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assists the Upholstery Lead related to finish requirements to support the master production schedule.
• Interprets material specs and engineering drawings to meet design specs and quality standards.
• Ensures work orders and forms used for traceability are properly executed.
• Maintains shop equipment and tools in good working order.
• Keeps shop premises clean and orderly.
• Wears safety equipment and follows safety guidelines including Hazardous Materials.
