Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an Aviation Training Division Pilot Instructor to provide classroom and simulator instruction. The position will be located in Milton, FL, and will be an onsite role at NAS Whiting Field.

The candidate will deliver instruction to international military students, operate T-6B/TH-57/TH-73 simulators, and help maintain curricula and records while coordinating activities with other on-base organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience in the aviation field.
• At least 1,000 flight hours, 400 hours of flight experience, 250 PIC hours, and 75 night hours.
• Prior active-duty service as a designated military pilot, flight instructor, and aircraft commander.

Responsibilities

• Provide pilot instruction to international military students using established curricula.
• Coordinate instructional activities with organizations on the installation.
• Serve as a simulator instructor on T-6B, TH-57, and TH-73 training devices.
• Teach navigation, instrument, aircraft systems, cockpit procedures, and related aviation subjects.
• Review and update assigned curricula and submit recommendations after each course.
• Maintain instructional records and provide required administrative support.
