Job summary

V2X in Cheyenne, WY seeks a Tool Room Attendant under a Collective Bargaining Agreement to maintain inventory of tools, test equipment, and HAZMAT, using TCMax and TO procedures. You’ll ensure calibration, labeling, storage, and safety compliance to support aircraft maintenance and production teams.

This role requires HS diploma, DoD secret clearance eligibility, and 1 year of toolroom/HAZMAT experience; physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a hangar and ramp environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Level security clearance.
• Must hold a valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• 1 year recent experience with toolroom/HAZMAT duties (aeronautics preferred).
• Experience with tool control, Hazmat, Haz waste, TMDE/PMEL, and/or equipment accounts.
• Working knowledge of DAFI21-101 Tool and Equipment Management or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Utilize TCMax to check out and check in tools, test equipment and HAZ items.
• Perform electronic backup of TCMax monthly.
• Inspect tools and equipment for serviceability and functionality.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs of tools and equipment.
• Manage eTools IAW TO-5-1. Track spare, lost, damaged and/or removed tools.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all spare tools.
• Monitor TMDE/PMEL and calibration requirements.
• Ensure tools are labeled and stored properly in designated locations.
• Keep the tool room clean and organized.
• Support production and maintenance by ensuring required tools are available.
• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with regulations and maintain SDS binders.
