Job summary

StandardAero in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Calibration Lab Specialist to plan, document, and implement calibration methods for a wide range of inspection, measuring and test equipment. You will register, calibrate, and maintain equipment while ensuring traceability and compliance with standards.

The role requires 5+ years of calibration experience, an engineering technology diploma (or equivalent), CET certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years calibrating electronic or physical/dimensional test equipment.
• College diploma in engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• Registration as CET or equivalent certification.
• Must meet physical requirements (standing/walking).
• Lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, document and implement calibration methods for inspection, measuring and test equipment.
• Register, calibrate, inspect and identify inspection equipment and procedures.
• Monitor calibration frequencies for optimal performance and downtime.
• Design and maintain calibration procedures for TMDE.
• Source qualified subcontractors for in-house-unrepairable tooling.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and align equipment to specifications.
• Maintain calibration records and data reports with traceability.
