SUMMARY: The Aviation Technician II must demonstrate high mechanical aptitude and will inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft components while maintaining a safe work environment and following all company and federal regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft fuel equipment.
• Perform and document work performed according to the appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
• Maintain all shop‑calibrated tools in satisfactory operational conditions.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical and regulatory data.
• Perform work assignments as determined by the shop lead.
• Use appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being inspected.
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Record information and accomplish assignments in compliance with the inspection procedures manual, quality policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
