Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a software engineer to drive the implementation of features and value-based enhancements across our applications in the private aviation space. You will collaborate with architecture, infrastructure operations, cyber security, and other teams to design and deliver scalable solutions while emphasizing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.

The role emphasizes hands-on development in mobile/web domains, strong communication, and familiarity with Agile methodologies

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Software Engineer with 2-4 years experience is preferred.
• Experience in mobile development, web development, or software engineering projects as part of educational curriculum is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of software through analysis and design activities for new business features or value-based enhancements to existing software.
• Collaborate with various internal teams like architecture, infrastructure operations, cyber security, and others to implement architecture that encompass broad perspectives and requirements.
• Automate build, test, and deploy code and build pipelines
• Build testing automation and associated processes (Unit test coverage, testing automation, pipeline automation, code scanning, etc.) into the software product.
• Work in an agile team environment to iteratively deliver value.
