Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a full-time Software Certification Engineer 2 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will conduct software process audits to verify aviation product software is developed, documented, and released in compliance with internal processes and RTCA DO-178B/C.

Collaborate with project teams, document evidence of compliance, address deficiencies, and manage multiple release audits in parallel with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year in software development, process auditing, or aviation software regulatory docs.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Proficient with engineering tools and Microsoft Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct aviation-focused software quality assurance audits for DO-178B/C compliance.
• Apply RTCA DO-178B/C standards to projects and audits.
• Document evidence of compliance and address deficiencies.
• Coordinate multiple release audits in parallel with strict timelines.
