Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Aviation Senior Civil Project Engineer to lead and deliver complex airfield infrastructure design for our Aviation practice.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure FAA design standards, mentor junior staff, and oversee airfield layouts, pavement, grading, and terminal site development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience with aviation focus.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with FAA design standards (ACs) and airfield pavement design.

Responsibilities

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects with EITs and team members.
• Oversee and mentor EITs in grading design, pavement design, marking design, and airport-related components.
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants throughout the project life cycle.
• Present design concepts, alternatives, and solutions during client review meetings.
• Act as design lead during the bidding process and participate in construction inspection.

Ardurrais looking to hire an experienced Aviation Senior Civil Project Engineerfor ourAviationpractice inRaleigh, NC.

Primary Function

As a SeniorCivil ProjectEngineerin ouraviation practice,you'llsupport orlead the design and delivery of complexaviationinfrastructure. Your work will span airfield layout including runways, taxiways, and aprons; pavement design; grading and drainage systems; terminal building site development; and access roadways.You'llcollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure all designs meet FAA and local regulatory standards. Primary Duties

• Act as design lead for airfield civil construction projects while working with one or more EIT's and other project team members
• Oversee and mentor one ormore EITs in the areas of grading design, pavement design, marking design, airport operational construction safety and phasing plans, and other components of airport design
• Coordinate with owners, internal staff, and subconsultants throughout the project life cycle
• Present design concepts, alternatives, and solutions during client review meetings
• Act as design lead during the bidding process
• Participate in construction inspection and oversight, either as lead inspector or as technical support

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a strong focus on aviation projects
• PE license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Proven experience with FAA design standards (Advisory Circulars), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and airfield pavement design
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
