Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in security, military, or customer service.
• Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to read identification badges and labels.

Responsibilities

• Provide security screening to prevent weapons, explosives and other dangerous items entering the air transport system.
• Follow Government/Airport/Client and Company regulations.
• Communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to managers.
• Conduct physical searches and take action on detected items.
• Notify Law Enforcement or Airport Security when necessary.
• Maintain control of items until LEA arrival.
• Report safety incidents and maintain proper records.
