Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Orlando, FL to safeguard clients across industries, including a government aviation location. This full-time position involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service while following post orders and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, reporting incidents, and coordinating with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and other stakeholders while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at an aviation-related government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and potential security concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and notification procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
