Job summary

TSA Hiring Center is seeking Transportation Security Inspectors to conduct inspections and security assessments across aviation facilities in the Sandy Hook area. You will evaluate programs, inspect records and facilities, and identify compliance gaps, reporting findings with recommended corrective actions.

You will work with airport staff, airlines, law enforcement, and TSA teams to enhance aviation security and ensure adherence to federal requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in regulatory inspections or security assessments.
• Ability to interpret transportation-security laws, regulations and policies.
• Experience documenting findings in technical or investigative reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, security assessments, and regulatory-compliance reviews.
• Evaluate security programs and procedures for airports, airlines, and cargo operations.
• Inspect security processes, records, systems, facilities, and equipment.
• Identify vulnerabilities and deviations from standards; prepare follow-up actions.
• Review documents and collect information for inspections or investigations.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings and supporting evidence.
• Provide regulatory guidance to airport authorities and operators.
• Coordinate with TSA personnel and other agencies during inspections.
