Job summary

Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking Transportation Security Inspectors to ensure that airports, air carriers, cargo facilities, and other regulated aviation entities follow federal transportation-security requirements. The role combines field inspections, regulatory research, security assessments, incident response, and detailed report writing.

Based in Arcadia, WI, this full-time position pays $26.00 to $48.00 per hour (Pay Band SV-F).

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. national.
• Background investigation and security clearance may be required.
• Possible travel and irregular hours during inspections or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, security assessments, and regulatory-compliance reviews.
• Evaluate airport, airline, and air-cargo security programs and procedures.
• Inspect security processes, records, systems, facilities, and equipment.
• Identify vulnerabilities and compliance concerns and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports explaining findings and required follow-up.
• Coordinate with TSA personnel and other agencies during inspections.
