Job summary

Abby’s Catering is seeking a Sanitation Worker to support equipment, silverware, sanitation, and porter processes. This role operates in a 24/7 environment and requires overnight shifts, with responsibilities across building cleaning, beverage cart assembly, and ensuring flight-ready sanitation.

The position interfaces with the Sanitation Manager, participates in safety meetings, and emphasizes HACCP/GMP compliance and teamwork across departments in the Houston area.

Qualifications

• Experience with conveyor belt dishwashing machines and industrial sanitation equipment.
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including overnight, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Food Handler Certificate required (ServSafe or equivalent).
• Food Protection Manager Certification is a plus.
• Airline catering experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation tasks meet established timing, quality, and safety standards.
• Follow HACCP/GMP and Abby’s Catering sanitation policies.
• Maintain a safe working environment and report accidents or injuries immediately.
• Attend safety meetings and participate in hazard assessments.
• Provide excellent internal customer service and support team collaboration.
