Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years direct aviation experience in flight operations or equivalent
• Experience as a pilot with a commercial rating or as an air traffic controller
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder with 3+ years of U.S. residency and Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide End-to-End Meeting Planning and Logistics Coordination
• Provide planning services for Safety Team, regional, national and international meetings and safety conferences
• Support arrangements for meeting locations, site preparation, and logistical support
• Coordinate planning for, develop and disseminate content and publications for meetings and conferences
• Analyze aviation operational, regulatory, and safety issues supporting safety in the NAS
• Develop and evaluate recommendations to improve aviation safety and operational performance
• Support policy development and creation of standards, guidance, and technical documentation
• Conduct data-driven analysis, technical studies, and research to support program objectives
• Prepare technical reports, findings, and recommendations for Government and stakeholder use
• Support development of briefings, position papers, and technical guidance for FAA and stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members, FAA program offices, and industry stakeholders on analytical and operational initiatives
• Experience working with FAA Headquarters and cross-organizational collaboration and executive-level communications
• Applied technical expertise in aviation safety programs or aviation-related domains
• Experience supporting development of technical studies, operational recommendations, or aviation guidance materials
