Job summary

Noblis, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Computer Programmer to support aviation safety, operational analytics, and technology modernization initiatives within the National Airspace System.

The role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions, algorithms, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making. The candidate will combine expertise in programming, data analysis, and software development with experience in aviation or complex technical environments,

Qualifications

  • U.S Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (3+ years U.S. Residency)
  • Ability to obtain FAA Public Trust
  • Experience with FAA and the environment
  • PhD/Master/Bachelor with 10+/15+/17+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software development, algorithm implementation, and data visualization
  • Experience with text mining, data analytics, and programming languages such as Python, R, Java, C++, or equivalent
  • Experience working in aviation, aerospace, or other highly regulated technical environments

Responsibilities

  • Apply computer programming and analytical techniques to develop code, implement algorithms, and produce software solutions for aviation safety and operational analysis
  • Develop dashboards, data visualizations, and analytics tools to support FAA decision-making and reporting
  • Conduct text mining, data extraction, and data integration for actionable insights
  • Utilize state-of-the-art simulation environments to develop, validate, and deploy software solutions
  • Collaborate in engineering, technical, or analytical teams and contribute to planning processes
  • Apply computer science principles and mathematical methods to solve complex aviation problems
  • Ensure software solutions meet FAA, federal, and organizational standards for quality and safety
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations communicating findings and methodologies
