Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC in Hawaii is seeking a full-time ramp employee to load, unload, service and guide aircraft. You will safeguard baggage and cargo, operate belt loaders and pushback equipment, and document all movements in the company system.

Candidates must meet safety and security requirements, be able to lift heavy items, and pass background, drug, and work authorization checks. Local residency and a valid license are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a local (in-state) resident.
• Valid In-State Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by law.
• Ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.
• Must lift/carry/push/pull and move items of 70+ lbs regularly.
• Must walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently.
• Must work in cramped or high places.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, services, guides, and directs customer aircraft.
• Safeguards passengers' baggage, air cargo, and mail from weather, loss, theft, damage, or destruction.
• Lifts and transfers baggage and cargo in/out of aircraft bins and carts safely.
• Operates pushback equipment with visual contact to ensure safe operations.
• Records and handles customer baggage and cargo as required.
• Delivers cargo and baggage to/from aircraft and records related data.
• Operates and/or drives belt loaders, lifts, push back tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts, and deicers.
• Completes paperwork and data entry for work assignments.
• Performs other related duties within skill and experience.
