Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection required on aviation related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and or avionic).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read, speak, write, and effectively communicate in English.
• Read and interpret various types of precision measurement equipment.
• Read and interpret documents such as OEM maintenance manuals, customer specifications and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Operate industrial truck or electric hoist.
• Perform frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software
• Ability to effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors and management personnel, customers and 2nd and 3rd party auditors.
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Maintain effectiveness in stressful situations
• At least 1-year relevant aviation work experience
• Certify visual acuity to NAS-410
• Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
• Be proficient in inspection procedures (incoming, in process, and final) and documentation.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers match customer paperwork.
• Maintain proper documentation and calibration of inspection tools.
• Ensure proper handling and preservation of components during inspection.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize repairs and processes.
• Assist in introducing new repairs and techniques to facilitate repairs.
