Turbine Controls MRO, a VSE Aviation Company, Bloomfield, CT, is seeking a Quality Inspector II to perform aviation component inspections per FAA data and quality procedures. You will verify product integrity before completion, using precision gauges and CMMs, in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 2+ years of relevant experience or a technical degree, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience or a technical degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers & calipers) and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents/drawings and CMMs.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with multiple teams and meet quality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspections of aviation components to ensure FAA compliance and quality standards.
• Inspect incoming and in-process components for adherence to specifications.
• Use precision instruments to verify parts and assemblies for defects and deviations.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
• Review technical drawings and CMMs to ensure accurate inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address issues.
