Job summary

Carpe Diem Aviation Services (CDAS) in Joplin, MO is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. The role ensures air-worthiness of engine parts in accordance with FAA standards and supports ongoing repairs and overhauls of TPE 331 engines and APUs.

You will work under the Director of Quality, perform inspections, review technical publications and directives, and help maintain compliance with federal and state regulations while supporting a busy repair station.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality setting preferred.
• Must possess good communication skills.
• Experience in aviation strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable completing computer tasks with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Comprehends and ensures compliance on all quality policies, procedures, and regulations as outlined in the CDAS repair station/maintenance policy manual and subsequent documents.
• Performs administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Quality – Chief Inspector
• Performs review for all technical publications, Airworthiness Directives and Alert Service Bulletins for applicability to current CDAS programs as outlines in CDAS Operations Specifications. Will alert the Chief Inspector accordingly
• Performs quality inspector duties for any work as needed or necessary
• Ensures compliance with all Federal and State/Province regulations
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory and repair station regulations
• Performs return to service inspections on engine/APU articles as required
