Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Dallas is seeking a hands-on operator responsible for sampling and testing products for quality control and for performing inspections and basic maintenance on facilities.

You will ensure a safe work environment, perform routine inspections of fuel storage equipment, monitor tanks to prevent spills, and complete necessary logs and documentation. This role requires a valid US driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass pre-employment tests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
• Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test.
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require lifting and moving up to 70lbs.
• Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government, and industry standards
• Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination.
• Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
• Makes required log entries QC, maintenance and completes required documentation and performs data entry
• Other duties as assigned
