Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to uphold West Star’s quality standards and FAA regulations. You will work with Aircraft Technicians, Program Managers, Team Leaders, and QA Inspectors to ensure compliance and proper documentation.

You will conduct inspections, verify “ok to close” sign-offs, participate in daily reviews, and support airframe inspections while maintaining customer-focused work habits. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A’P License or Repairman Certificate required.
• Inspection Authorization (IA) rating recommended.

Responsibilities

• Maintain West Star Aviation’s quality standards by inspecting technician’s work, performing “ok to close”, and auditing.
• Ensure proper sign-offs in Corridor as part of the inspection process.
• Participate in daily review meetings.
• Assist with Airframe Inspections.
• Coordinate with departments to sign off, inspect, and close airframe squawks.
