Job summary

flyExclusive is seeking a QC Inspector to report to the Chief Inspector and perform inspections in accordance with our General Maintenance Manual. You will review forms, tags, and log pages to ensure compliance with FARs, oversee aircraft handling, and perform weight and balance analyses using approved procedures.

The ideal candidate has the FAA A&P license, 6+ years of hands-on experience with corporate jets, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 18+ years old.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  • 6+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inspections are completed per policies and procedures.
  • Conduct receiving inspections of components, materials, tooling, and hardware per manuals and FARs.
  • Inspect and evaluate work by AMTs, sheet metal AMTs, and avionics techs; oversee rework of deficiencies.
  • Perform RII inspections per procedures and program requirements.
  • Review maintenance paperwork to ensure compliance with FARs and company manual.
  • Oversee safety during aircraft handling activities (jacking, fueling, defueling, towing).
  • Conduct weight and balance analyses using approved manuals and scales.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
