Job summary

ST Engineering North America is seeking a Quality Assurance Auditor in San Antonio to lead internal audits, monitor regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across departments. You will document non-conformities, assist root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are effective, while educating staff on program requirements.

Qualifications

• Two years of college or trade school preferred, but not required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.
• Must have a minimum of two years auditing experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for presenting ideas to coworkers, supervisors, management, and external agencies.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must possess strong aviation technical writing skills with the ability to prepare, interpret, and maintain accurate technical documentation in accordance with FAA regulations and industry standards

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of SAA departments to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform surveillance of SAA activities within customer programs.
• Document non-conformities using CAPA reports per SAA PPM QC-010.
• Assist in identifying root causes and determining corrective actions for non-conformities.
• Conduct follow-up surveillance to assess effectiveness of CAPA actions.
• Review historical non-conformities and data to identify recurring issues.
• Support training and quality management in educating personnel on program requirements.
• Promote quality and safety practices within production areas.
• Collaborate with management and customer representatives to facilitate program enhancements.
• Investigate aircraft damage incidents and document findings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor of Quality Assurance.
