Job summary

Ardurra Group, Inc. in Utah seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead airport design and construction across regions, mentoring staff and ensuring QA/QC.

You will manage client relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex aviation projects on time and within budget. The role sits within a well-established aviation group with diverse airfield projects, spanning planning, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance and FAA grant processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 8+ years’ experience in airport design/construction.
  • Airport design and project management experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars and FAA grant process.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and support group growth.

  • Oversee projects and serve as client manager for airport design and construction.
  • Provide mentoring to junior staff and QA/QC.
  • Lead project planning, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance and budgeting.
  • Direct design phasing from planning through completion.

Ardurra is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our thriving Aviation Group in Salt Lake City, UT or Heber City, UT.

Primary Function:

In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects and serving as a client manager for airport design and construction projects within specific regions. The ideal individual will provide mentoring to junior staff and QA/QC.

The ideal individual for this role will be joining a very well-established aviation group with a diverse workload in airfield service projects. From project planning, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance, financial planning, legislative strategy, land acquisition, and design phasing, this individual will be heavily involved in projects from design to completion! Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • PE License required
  • 8+ years' experience in the airport design and/or construction field, either in private industry or government service
  • Airport design and project management experience a must
  • Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
  • Ability to lead and mentor existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the aviation group
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
