Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas is seeking a Quality Engineer to execute and expand supplier quality initiatives, including compliance, audits, MRB, FAI witnessing, and CAPA activities. The role emphasizes problem solving, corrective actions, supplier performance reporting, and quality improvements.

The position involves developing testing plans with design teams, applying PPAP core elements, and driving proactive quality initiatives across materials and processes.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English – reading and writing required.
  • Pre-hire background check including DMV and credit screening.
  • Pre-hire drug screening.
  • FAA, EAR, and ITAR standards and regulations.
  • MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Conduits activities to modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation, control systems and protocols
  • Provide explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes
  • Analyze nonconformities and design problems for internally produced products and processes, and develop corrective action recommendations
  • Utilize PPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans) to identify risk in product development and propose risk management solutions
  • Review and ensure requirements are met for work transfer and process change management, including Resourcing Gate and PPAP acceptance
  • Review process control documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, objectives, and contracts
  • Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for materials processed into partially finished or finished products
  • Collaborate with product design and specification teams to devise testing plans, methods, and equipment that assure product reliability and quality
  • Develop proactive quality initiative strategies and drive their implementation
  • Design and implement product engineering changes to address customer-raised quality issues
  • Responsible for Program and Product Quality Engineering
  • Develop new inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

Overview

Under general supervision and reporting to the Senior Director of Quality Operations, the Quality Engineer is responsible for executing and expanding key initiatives within the supplier quality organization. This includes activities such as Compliance, Process and Product Audits, MRB, FAI Witnessing, Review and Sign off, Problem Solving, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Supplier Performance Reporting, and other Quality Improvement Activities.

Job Responsibilities

Compensation

Pay Range: $33.00-$52.00 per hour. Eligible for overtime. See company guidance for offer specifics.
