Job summary

Everts Air in Anchorage, AK seeks an inventory/parts handler to manage the flow of aircraft parts, supplies and tooling, ensuring accurate records and regulatory compliance. You will order, receive, inspect, store and track materials for maintenance needs.

The role supports multiple departments, coordinates with vendors, and performs routine audits while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Must be able to pass an Airport Background Criminal History Check.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs; ability to learn inventory and database systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technicians and leadership while supporting regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in aviation, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control or related environments is preferred.

  • Order, receive, inspect, and distribute aircraft parts and supplies.
  • Support and coordinate with maintenance personnel to provide required materials and tooling for repairs.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding parts purchasing, shipping, and repair status.
  • Perform routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
  • Verify and maintain documentation related to aircraft parts, certifications, and traceability per regulations.
  • Track and manage the shipment and receipt of materials.

Job Summary

$23.00 p/hr.

Essential Functions
  • Order, receive, inspect, and distribute aircraft parts and supplies.
  • Support and coordinate with maintenance personnel to provide required materials and tooling for aircraft maintenance repairs.
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding parts purchasing, shipping, and repair status.
  • Perform routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and stock reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Verify and maintain documentation related to aircraft parts, certifications, and traceability in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and manage the internal and external shipment and receipt of materials.
  • Support compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and aviation regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Support multiple functions within the parts department, including receiving, purchasing, front counter support, expediting, and repairable parts coordination.

Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License is required.

  • Basic computer proficiency is required, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Docs, along with the ability to learn new inventory and database systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technicians and leadership while supporting regulatory compliance are required.
  • Experience in any of the following areas is preferred: aviation, warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations, computerized inventory systems, aircraft parts or maintenance environments.
