Job summary

Agyaq Technologies LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION The Painter is responsible for ensuring that components are prepped and painted in accordance with provided technical data.

The role involves extensive surface preparation, masking inspection for critical areas, and operating blasting and coating equipment to apply finishes on aircraft components. Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and adherence to procedures is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Trade School Graduate with 15 years of technical experience.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation by de-painting, mechanical de-painting, cleaning, buffing, sanding, blasting, and treating surfaces and parts.
• Inspect masking to protect vital areas; inspect coatings and metal substrates for corrosion per standards.
• Operate abrasive and non-abrasive blasting equipment such as glass media, plastic media and water cleaning equipment.
• Paint various material types with various application methods.
