SpaceX in Washington state is seeking an Operations Engineer for Starlink Aviation. You will lead investigations into performance issues, build infrastructure and tooling, and apply data science to improve customer experience and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include developing data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics to monitor reliability, collaborating with engineering, production, and support teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data analysis, or STEM
• 1+ years of experience with SQL
• 1+ years of data analysis in Python or R
• Familiarity with Bash scripting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations with tight timelines and present findings to executives
• Build and maintain infrastructure, tools, and scripts to assess Starlink Aviation performance
• Analyze data to build models that improve customer experience and drive growth
• Develop tooling and processes to improve customer experience and issue resolution
• Create data pipelines, metrics dashboards, and alerting for reliability
• Collaborate across engineering, production, test, inventory, and customer teams
