Job summary

CTL Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Aviation On-Wing Travel Repair Technician. This role performs maintenance on aircraft worldwide, reading repair procedures and translating instructions into action, with travel to domestic and international locations as required.

Candidates must be US citizens, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and willing to undergo DOT/FAA drug testing. A&P license is a plus, and the position offers competitive pay and an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

Job Description

CTL Aerospace is a full-service FAA/EASA/CAAC Repair Station providing services to the aerospace industry since 1946. The CTL Repair Division specializes in the overhaul and repair of aircraft metal and composite components.

We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment as an Aviation On-Wing Travel Repair Technician at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Job Requirements

• Perform maintenance on aircraft around the world to the highest quality standards.
• Understand and follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance procedures.

• Understand basic dimensioning and tolerances.

• Updated vaccinations are required depending on the country visited.
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record. May be required to drive in other countries.

Job Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen
• Federal Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) license a plus.
• Aircraft composite or sheet metal experience.
• Mandatory FAA drug and alcohol screening.
• Must be driven/self-sufficient/eager to learn and mechanically inclined.
• Able to work in a repair environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to cross train and work overtime as business needs require.

This position requires you to undergo a DOT/FAA pre-employment drug test for the following prohibited drugs (as defined in 49 CFR § 40.3) prior to being hired or transferred into a Department of Transportation (DOT) safety-sensitive position as defined in 14 CFR part 120[1]:

• Phencyclidine (PCP), and
• Amphetamines.
