Tomorrow.io is hiring aviation meteorologists for remote US/Caribbean locations with onsite opportunities across the U.S. Northeast.

We seek team players who support aviation operations in a fast-paced environment and bring a passion for meteorology that improves flight decision-making. Ideal candidates have strong aviation weather forecasting skills, including TAFs, convection, turbulence, and icing, with the ability to brief stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operational experience as an aviation meteorologist (must)
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends & holidays (must)
• Experience creating TAFs (must)
• Experience forecasting aviation-related convection, turbulence and icing over large areas (must)
• Experience participating in aviation meteorology conference calls
• Experience giving verbal/written briefs on aviation meteorology

Responsibilities

• Provide aviation meteorology support for aviation operations
• Create and interpret TAFs for flight planning
• Forecast convection, turbulence and icing affecting flight routes
• Brief stakeholders verbally and in writing on weather-related risks
