Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of practical mechanical design in aviation.
• Proficient in creating mechanical drawings using AutoCAD or CATIA (preferred).
• Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, and TCCA regulatory certification rules.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Self-starter with excellent written and interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for aircraft interior and structural modifications, including drawings and substantiation reports.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and regulators on design, installation, and certification.
• Research specs for component selection and ensure supplier compliance.
• Assist with SOW creation and bids for new customer requests.
• Support service centers in investigating and resolving build/modification issues and create deviation drawings.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
