Job summary

Bridger Aerospace is seeking a CL-215T Scooper Technician II to perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on CL-215T aircraft during winter maintenance and fire-season operations. The role follows a 12 days on / 12 days off schedule and reports to the Scooper Crew Chief.

Applicants must hold an Airframe and Powerplant license, have 2+ years of aviation maintenance experience, and be able to travel and pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Airframe and Powerplant license is required.
• 2+ years aviation maintenance experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
• Ability to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on CL-215T aircraft per maintenance data and procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct aircraft discrepancies to support rapid return to service.
• Assist with inspections, repairs, modifications, and component replacements in winter maintenance and field ops.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation per FAA regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel on status and needs.
• Ensure compliance with Part 145 procedures and regulatory requirements.
