Job summary

Beta Technologies in Vermont is seeking an M&P Technician to fabricate, test, and report on materials and processes for aircraft systems, with hands-on involvement in machining, testing, and inspection of composite parts.

You will contribute to R&D and process improvements, supporting battery, motor, and structure systems while maintaining a safety- and quality-driven culture at Beta.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Must have good hands-on skills and experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and test panels for thermal runaway protection.
• Qualification testing of new materials.
• Machine and test process control coupons for composite parts.
• Fabricate and test specimens for receiving inspection of raw materials.
• Destructive testing of composite parts. Cut parts, take cross sections, machine specimens, and test.
• Testing to improve existing processes.
• Testing for R&D of new material and new processes.
