Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation in Crestview, FL is seeking an MRP/Production Planner to support Make, Buy and BOM planning within an ERP environment, ensuring on-time material flow and production scheduling. The role collaborates with Master Scheduling, Production Operations and Procurement to optimize inventory and mitigate delays.

Candidates should have strong Excel skills, experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and proven ability to work with minimal supervision in a DoD aviation production

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
• Experience in a planning or logistics role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for an aircraft Production Support Area.
• Interface with Master Scheduling, Production Operations and Production Engineering to ensure production and schedule needs are met.
• Create, issue and TCHO production orders.
• Facilitate redlines to productions orders.
• Request installation drawings through CMDC.
• Complete IPO’s and issue kits with production orders in accordance to schedule and/or production need.
• Inventory control of kits.
• Communicate with PP&C leadership concerning kitting needs/discrepancies.
• Maintain bench stock and HAZMAT for assigned aircraft to include issuing, reorders, and inventory management to min/max levels.
• HAZMAT and Production Support Area consumption audits.
• Aircraft closeout activities.
