Job summary

The Boeing Company in Layton, UT seeks a Manufacturing Assembler (Level B) to perform simple production assembly on structural, mechanical, electrical components and subassemblies. You will read drawings, identify parts/tools, and ensure safety and quality compliance in a 1st shift environment. Required 1+ years in manufacturing/assembly; U.S.

citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Preferred IPC 610/620 and J-Std 1-3certifications, plus fiber optic experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance IPC 610 & 620 certification or related experience.
• J-Std Module 1,2, & 3 certification or related experience.
• Experience dealing with fiber optic cables.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Citizenship and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Use a computer in a production environment.
• Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings and specifications.
• Wear protective clothing/equipment as required.
• Use hand tools, torque tools, meters and related equipment.
• Inspect work quality and ensure defect-free assembly.
