Job summary

Gulfstream Appleton is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technican I to perform and assist with maintenance, repair, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. This role involves troubleshooting and supporting multiple systems under supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years aviation maintenance experience or FAA A&P certificate, and a valid driver's license. This position is full-time with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years aviation maintenance experience or FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and servicing of aircraft mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components.
• Coordinate with inspection to ensure FAA/documentation compliance.
• Complete work order sign-offs and related paperwork promptly.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and secure customer property; manage component storage.
• Follow SOPs and JSAs when using ground support equipment.
• Coordinate with other teams for overhaul or repair as needed.
• Apply 6S and Lean initiatives to keep work areas clean.
• Maintain knowledge of FAA regulations and company policies.
