Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will perform mechanical tasks, remove and install panels, troubleshoot systems, and support inspections on civilian aircraft.

AMT I–IV licenses and experience levels are outlined, with FAA safety adherence and potential advancement opportunities. A shift premium applies for 2nd shift; benefits include training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred for AMT I.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years for AMT II; corporate aircraft experience preferred.
• 4–6+ years for AMT III; extensive knowledge of maintenance.
• 6+ years for AMT IV; subject matter expert on corporate aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Follow FAA guidelines and company safety rules.
• Communicate effectively in English.
