Job summary

Aersale is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor to monitor crew attendance, audit work records, and enforce safety and regulatory compliance across aircraft maintenance tasks. The role emphasizes leadership, productivity, and adherence to IPM and FAA regulations.

Candidates should have an A&P license (preferred) or equivalent aircraft maintenance experience, and be able to work on-site. Strong English communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• A&P license preferred and/or 3 years aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain attendance records of assigned crew.
• Audit and approve weekly work records of assigned work group.
• Enforce company policies, rules and safety guidelines.
• Evaluate vacation requests against scheduling/manpower requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance with regulations.
• Lead operations to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Provide coaching and guidance to the assigned work group.
• Disciplinary actions per guidelines and performance concerns.
• Attend meetings to discuss critical path areas and aircraft status.
• Perform daily area inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensure IPM & FAA regulations are adhered to.
• Complete accident investigations and follow-up as needed.
• Conduct periodic audits of the assigned crew.
• Monitor safety during shifts and enforce procedures.
• Assign manpower for work tasks and monitor progress.
• Guide mechanics and provide training as needed.
