Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an additional 3 years of related work experience.
  • 4 years of manual machinist experience is required.
  • 4 years of welding experience is required.
  • Flexible to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize components for repairs to ensure delivery requirements are met on time.
  • Apply specialty coatings to aviation components as required.
  • Document maintenance records of all repair work orders performed.
  • Utilize precision measuring equipment daily.
  • Weld utilizing ARC, MIG and TIG.
  • Operate an oxygen/acetylene torch and a plasma torch.
  • Develop and duplicate tooling using engineering drawings.
  • Maintain inventory supplies for daily operation.
  • Inspect work completed on aviation components.
  • Operate manual lathe and milling machines.
  • Operate cut-off saws, band saws, belt sanders and bench grinders.
  • Operate drill presses and forklift as needed.
