Job summary

Atlantic Aviation SRQ in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Line Service Technician to provide aviation ground support, including fueling/defueling, baggage handling, towing, marshalling, lavatory and potable water service, and other ground support tasks.

The role emphasizes a positive, professional approach, ability to work outdoors, and flexibility for all shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays. Pay is $17.50–$18.00 per hour with opportunities to build a career in aviation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • 18 years of age.
  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Be comfortable with frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and receive fuel to and from company tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
  • Operate all company ground support equipment including lavatory and water service carts, GPU, deice truck.
  • Perform ground marshalling using standard aviation signals.
  • Assist customers with aircraft scheduling and fueling.
  • Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
  • Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
  • Conduct daily/weekly onsite safety inspections and audits of equipment and facility operations.
  • Occasional travel to support another Atlantic location.
