Job summary

National Jets is seeking a Line Service Technician in the Fort Lauderdale area. The role requires an enthusiastic candidate with a passion for aviation, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and providing top-notch customer service across ramp operations.

Responsibilities include guiding aircraft, fueling operations, de-icing assistance, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of all ramp and airport facilities. Full-time, non-exempt position with varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Experience or coursework related to aviation is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills required.
• Ability to multitask, lift up to 50 lbs, and use radios or phones for clear instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet, park, tow, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp area.
• Provide ground power, potable water, and lavatory services to aircraft.
• Operate mobile refueling vehicles and deliver fuel to aircraft.
• Assist de-ice aircraft due to inclement weather.
• Direct pilots using aviation hand signals and assist with customer service needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of terminals, hangar, tarmac and client areas.
