Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Interior Technician to perform mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems in our Statesville hangar.

You will troubleshoot interior components, modify panels and upholstery, and assist in refurbishments while adhering to FAA guidelines. Candidates with 5+ years in private aviation interiors and a strong team spirit will thrive in our fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with private aviation interiors preferred.
• Ability to read manuals and blueprints.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn interior components.
• Modify panels, seats, carpets, and cabinetry as needed.
• Measure and fit leather, fabric, and composites for refurbishments.
• Maintain shop facilities and equipment; ensure safety compliance.
