Job summary

HNTB is seeking a visionary design leader to define the next generation of aviation environments and elevate design across our national aviation practice. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, mentor teams, and influence major pursuits from concept through delivery.

The role focuses on shaping passenger experience, leading design for projects across North America, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative interior environments that support airport business

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
RA/RID credential required.

Responsibilities

Leads architectural documentation team and develops 3D concepts for large projects.
Directs design analysis, planning, programming studies, and layout development.
Guides space planning direction and introduces innovative ideas.
Oversees interior design standards, codes, and regulations.
Prepares project specifications, data, and presentations.
Mentors less experienced team members and leads business development efforts.
Manages project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
Supports recruitment, hiring, and staff development.
