Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Aviation, Aeronautics, or related field.
• FAA CFI credential or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent flight instruction or professional aviation experience.
• Thorough knowledge of aviation theory, regulations (FAA or equivalent), and safety protocols.
• Prior teaching or training experience at collegiate or technical level.
• Ability to instruct in a classroom and utilize a simulator.
• Proficiency with aviation tech, simulation gear, and LMS.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly feedback meetings with EU administrator (Dean, Advisor, or Program Director) to review student and classroom issues.
• Maintain accurate attendance (daily and weekly).
• Make phone calls to students who have been absent.
• Review and administer pre- and post-testing in all appropriate courses.
• Administer required surveys and assessments in all appropriate courses.
• Notify registrar of roster changes.
• Prevent non-admitted students from entering class until cleared.
• Maintain fair grading schemes for each student.
• Adhere to University policies and regulations.
