Job summary

Ōnin Aerospace seeks an Aviation Inspector to uphold high standards across aerospace programs. You will interpret engineering drawings, use precision tools, and ensure compliance with QMS policies to inspect parts, processes, and assemblies.

Strong blueprint reading, NCR writing, and communication are essential to succeed in this role. You will work on multiple inspection areas, maintain calibration of tools, and ensure documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience with MS Office and SAP systems.
• Proven experience writing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of production and inspection processes.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments, inspection tools, and specialized equipment.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.
• Maintain working knowledge of company processes, policies, and production workflows.
• Perform inspections to accept or reject parts, processes, and assemblies.
• Verify tools and equipment are properly calibrated and qualified.
• Prepare and maintain quality records and documentation.
• Write and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Support multiple inspection areas and job codes as needed.
• Maintain required certifications and training compliance.

Work Requirements

• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
