Job summary

RS&H is seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our in-office team. You will gain experience on conventional and design-build aviation projects, applying design standards and technical knowledge to deliver cost-effective solutions.

Ideal candidates are civil engineering students with ABET accreditation, at least one year to graduation, a 2.5 GPA, and strong communication. Prior CAD experience is a plus as is an interest in aviation infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university with at least 1 year remaining until program completion
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assist in civil design tasks for aviation infrastructure projects
• Support design teams with CAD drawings and modeling in Civil 3D
• Collaborate within a team on multiple projects and deadlines
• Learn and apply technical standards to meet client expectations
