Job summary

Menzies Aviation LATAM in Chicago seeks a GSE Manager to oversee ground support equipment maintenance, repair services, and scheduling. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across the station.

Lead the team, manage budgets, track inspections, mentor staff, and coordinate with QA to meet deadlines. Requires 3–5 years mechanical experience, valid US driver's license, and ability to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for all aspects of the GSE repair services at the station.
• Fully accountable for the financial performance and compliance with governance, legal and quality standards.
• Schedules all preventive maintenance inspections.
• Leads and collaborates with senior team to maintain safety systems, risk assessments, audits, and training programs.
• Maintains equipment records and monitors registration and hour-meter data.
• Coordinates scheduling of equipment repairs.
• Coordinates QA inspections on fuel equipment.
• Ensures repair deadlines are met.
• Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Mentors staff and provides training to new employees.
