Job summary

Atlantic Aviation at CRQ in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Part Time Line Service Technician to perform aviation ground support, including fueling, towing, baggage handling and marshalling signals. You’ll work in a fast-paced outdoor airfield environment, supporting customers and their aircraft.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 18 years old, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• 18 years of age.
• A valid state driver’s license.
• Be comfortable and physically able to work in an environment with frequent walking, bending, and climbing.
• Be physically able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and receive fuel to and from tanks, vendor trucks, and aircraft.
• Operate ground support equipment as requested (lavatory and water service carts, GPU, deice truck).
• Perform ground marshalling using aviation signals.
• Provide customer service such as scheduling and fueling assistance.
• Assist with aircraft turning, loading, and unloading.
• Ensure buildings and grounds are safe, clean, and organized.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.
• Occasional travel may be required to support another Atlantic location.
• You may be occasionally assigned to another Atlantic location based on proximity.
